Here are my ancestors - and if you press the EXPAND button, all of their known descendants. For example, my Great Grandmother on my father’s side was Mary Benyon (1849-1883). I know that her Grandfather was George Benyon b. 1783. So, this chart will show all of his descendants and partners. Go on, have a look. Press the EXPAND button below. All those with a yellow background are my direct blood ancestors and the others are my relatives, their brothers and sisters, children, aunts, uncles, cousins and the like.

I have not been able to prove or even guess how my William Snelston probably born about 1660 ended up working as an ag. lab (labourer) living in 1689 in Gwersyllt which was then a village outside Wrexham in the parish of Gresford in Wales. There are many possible reasons and places of his birth - perhaps Weaverham, Tarporley, Great Budworth, Farndon, Shocklach, Churton ... his father may have got caught up in the Civil War 1642-1651 and beyond, I don't know. A time of great upheaval and family disturbance in this region. It's a mystery.
